Hills Bank is getting a new look!
We are excited to introduce a new Hills Bank logo and tagline—Connection is Here—which we visually represent our connectivity to each other, our customers and the communities we serve. Below are some answers to questions you may have.
Why the need for a rebrand?
We've been around since 1904, so naturally we need to update things from time to time. This rebrand is just a natural evolution of our brand that better reflects who we are to those we serve.
Will I see new faces at my local branch as a result of this?
These changes will not impact who works where or how business is conducted. Customers should continue to expect exceptional customer service both in branch and online.
Will these changes impact the service received online or in physical locations?
Service will continue undisturbed. Over the next several months, you'll see our new logo online and at our locations with new signage, the updated colors, and the new logo.
How do we want our customers to feel about the brand?
It is our hope that our customers will be excited and engaged by the new brand. We want to maintain connections with our current customers and create new ones with potential customers.
I've heard about the HERE app. What exactly is it?
Hills Bank is one of the first financial institutions in the country to offer an app that allows you to connect to a live personal banker over your smartphone. With the new HERE app, you can check your accounts, conduct banking business and even get financial advice. It is available for download in the Apple App store and Google Play.
Will checks, debit cards and credit cards still work?
Yes, existing checks and deposit slips will continue to work. As current debit and credit cards expire and new ones are issued, updated cards will be sent out reflecting the new branding.
Why are you dropping the “And Trust Company” from Hills Bank?
While we are not formally changing our name, we are shortening it on our logo to help our brand be more easily recognized throughout our communities.
