Involvement
We believe in caring for our customers and the communities in which we serve, measuring our performance by the high standards set by our founders. We provide financial support and staff for numerous programs to promote financial literacy and leadership. Examples are Summer Reading Program partnerships with local libraries, financial literacy classes for junior high students, Leadership Grant training and Youth Salute leadership program for high school students.
Our involvement is the basis of our success over the past century and sets the roadmap for future performance.

Supporting Our Communities
It only takes small changes to make a big difference in our communities. Hills Bank is proud to help sustain our local economy by living locally.

Boosting Our Businesses
Hills Bank promotes the growth of hometown businesses and the local community by encouraging everyone to shop locally.

Recognizing Young Leaders
The Leadership Grant is a scholarship awarded to college-bound high school students across Southeast Iowa.

Making Tomorrow’s World Brighter
Youth Salute is a program of the National Council on Youth Leadership (NCYL) and is guided by the vision of making tomorrow’s world better by developing leaders today. The council’s mission is to assist communities to applaud, encourage, and provide opportunity for the leadership development of their youth.
