Embrace the seasonal changes fall brings while journeying through the beautiful, foliaged countryside of New England. Along the way, the group will stop to admire Niagara Falls and take a 22-mile boat tour through American and Canadian waters. This journey through the heart of the 1000 Islands will take us past sunken ships and the summer homes of the rich and famous. As we continue east we’ll stop in Lake Placid for a visit to the Winter Olympic Museum. Here we will see memorabilia from past Games and relive the “Miracle on Ice” moment before continuing on to the shores of Lake Champlain for a ferry ride across the lake. Visits to the Albanese Candy Factory, the Lake Champlain Chocolate Factory, and the Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks will satisfy any sweet tooth. As we journey on we’ll marvel at the beautiful foliage, stop at Quechee Gorge, and be welcomed into Maine with a wonderful lobster bake dinner! In Kennebunkport, share in the upper class’s summer haven, and later explore the funky seacoast town of Portland. We will also visit the LL Bean headquarters and enjoy a free afternoon in Portland to explore the galleries, shops, and restaurants of the Historic Old Port District. Day seven marks the beginning of our journey home, but the touring continues! In Corning, New York we’ll explore the history of glassworks at the Corning Museum of Glass, and in Cleveland we’ll let the good times roll at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum. This tour has something for everyone! Please contact Karissa Wikert at 319-358-2230 or email for a detailed brochure and to register.
